Limits on the Free Version

As you consider upgrading from the Free plan to a paid plan, here are some of the key differences to keep in mind.

Analysis minutes

The Free plan includes 1,000 analysis minutes per month so that you can try out Qlty Cloud and see how it works for your team. If you exceed this limit, your analysis will be paused until the start of the next month, or until you upgrade to a paid plan.

Paid plans include significantly more analysis minutes, starting at 20,000 per month for the Pro plan, with the option to purchase additional minutes if needed.

Trends & hotspots

Our paid plans include access to code quality reports like trends and hotspots.

Trends allow you to track your code quality progress over time, and hotspots highlight the most problematic areas of your codebase for your team to focus on.

Support & service

Our Free plan comes with public, community support via GitHub and Discord. Paid plans include email-based support, with the option for priority support, SLAs, and dedicated account management.

Other limits

• Accelerated analysis — Paid plans are able to perform analysis using larger runners, which can significantly speed up analysis times.
• REST API — Paid plans include access to the API to ease administration and provide programatic access to your code quality data for integrations.
• Coverage tags — Paid plans include the ability to use coverage tags to track coverage for different suites or parts of your codebase (e.g. integration vs. unit tests).

Upgrade to a Paid Plan

To upgrade to a paid plan, follow these steps:

1. From your Dashboard, choose your Workspace.
2. Click on the Workspace Settings tab.
3. In the left sidebar, click the Plan & Billing section.
4. Choose your preferred plan and billing cycle, then click the Subscribe button.
5. Enter your payment details and click Subscribe to finalize the upgrade.
